Greetings everybody!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I hope to find everyone doing great!  I can't wait to see you all for Christmas!  We have break from December 20- January 3.  woo hoo!

For thanskgiving we (as in all of Masters USA) held a special dinner for one of our programs that reaches out to foster kids and group homes.  We split about 400 people up into tables of 20 and made it as close to family as possible.  We prayed before we ate, made about 60 pies (I was up ALL night), and played some pretty fun games afterwards.  All in all it was a successfull day.  Pastor Lloyd got movie tickets for everyone that night and I went to see August Rush.  It's a great movie (perfect for girls).

Right now we are preparing for the Christmas season.  We have a LOT to accomplish because there are 14 days of the Christmas show, The Star of Wonder.  Master's runs a toy soldier dance and are involved in so many other areas its crazy.  It's gonna be a lot of long days.  But it'll be great none-the-less!  I will keep you all updated!

Music is crazy and I am writing a good amount right now.  My songwriting class is great!  It's probably my favorite right now.  Performance class is NOT my favorite though.  I am not a performer at all.  Oh dear.

As you all know, the Master's Commission worship team is called Frontline.  They wrote the song I sang in church called "I Call you Jesus"...  They just made a deal with Family Christian Bookstores to sell their cd for 14 bucks.  You can get them online, and they come Highly reccommended.  The people singing on the cd are my closest friends and teachers.  It's amazing and their worship is a movement going across the nation.  They always make sure their heart is there.

As far as my day off goes- every Monday night there are a group of students who are independantly hungry for the Holy Spirit.  We are meeting to try to expand our knowledge and grow in the Lord.  We are having an amazing time and there are always great revelations and always great worship.  It's like having my Sunday nights back, just not as good without my favorite worship team... SNIFF SNIFF TEAR...

Well send me an email!  I'd love to hear from you all!

Love,

Victoria <><

PS  My tuition payment is $365 a month.  If God so leads, I am still in for $2,000 in tuition.  Above all else, I could use your prayers!  Love you all!

MASTERS COMMISSION SUPPORT LETTER 2007

Greetings!  My name is Victoria Snyder and I have some exciting news to share with you!  Last year I spent in Arizona, learning all about music and discipleship.  This year I am very happy to tell you that I have been invited back for a second year at Master’s Commission USA!  This year is dedicated to leadership training and music training.  I will have more opportunities and learn so much more about music and of course, about the Word.

We do so many types of ministry out in Phoenix that make it such a rewarding program.  Last year I was required to read one book a month, memorize 350 scriptures and do one bible report each month.  I was involved in children’s outreach, homeless, elderly, street and of course, music ministry!  I was chosen to serve on many trips, including Lubbock, TX. New York, NY, and Lake Havasu, AZ/CA.  Every Sunday I was either playing guitar, piano or singing on a worship team.  God’s grace and favor was evident in my life!

As a student, I will be required to pay a tuition/housing fee of $5300.  Due to the full time schedule, I am unable to hold an outside job.  Master’s Commission is not an accredited program, so I am also unable to apply for or receive scholarships.  I also need to raise enough money to travel there, to have about $100-$200 in monthly support and for any other necessities that come up.

Right now I am working towards raising this money in every way I can.  The tuition may seem steep, but the training I will receive will benefit not only the rest of my life, but hopefully many others too!  I am asking for your support in any way you can help!  Please continue to pray and join me in believing that He will supply all my needs.

My step of faith is to ask 100 people for $100 dollars.  I don’t leave until September, so this gives me just under TWO months to raise the support!  I know God will provide and bless you greatly for whatever you can give!  Our God is an awesome God and I believe I’ll get there!

YAY for updating!

I am so sorry it's taken me so long to recap over March and fill ya'll in!  However, the time is here now and I am taking advantage of it!

March was an interesting month.  I was able to go on yet another trip to a place called Lake Havasu.  It's a beautiful section of the Colorado River where it opens up to a lake.  It's also on the border of California and Arizona!  The total cost of the trip was 150, and I didn't plan to go, but certain people pushed for me and got me sponsored!  It's amazing how this year more than any other time in my life, God has truly been my provider!

On the trip I was able to lead worship for my first time since Master's began!  It was weird, honestly.  I hadn't done it in so long and they teach you so much about it here that I almost felt insecure.  But regardless the team and I got our hearts right and things went extremely well!  We were at an average-sized youth group that night, and my friend Missy Robertson (who will definitely be famous someday!  She led worship at our church back in November) brought the word.  We met some great kids there that really love God and are great witnesses.

Lake Havasu is where they used to hold Spring Break with MTV.  Because of the horrible impact it brought to the pre-teens, the town stepped in and created "Teen-Break".  It's an awesome program that has befriended a group of local church and they work together to keep kids off the street during those few days.  The crime rate in the city over those days drops 87%!

Regular Master's has been going by so quickly!  I have written another new song and am working on Natalie's wedding song as well.  I only have one more book to read and do a report on, one more bible report (who should I study up on??), and a scripture final (pray I get all 350!!!).  This morning they moved out our bed frames and tables.  We still have our couches and matresses and dressers, but the house already looks so sad and empty.  I can't believe I will be home this time three weeks from now!

Well I do love you all and miss you dearly!  I can't wait to jump back into things at home!

Love and Jesus! or rather, Jesus and Love :)

P.S.  Just so I can tell you ahead of time, I have been asked and plan on coming back for a second year to Master's USA in Phoenix.  So this summer I will be trying to work hard and raise enough money for tuition and possibly a car (Please, Lord!)  Tuition next year is cheaper and will probably be around 5500 as compared to the 8000 I had to raise this year.  Please keep this all in your prayers!  Send me some emails!  Love you all!
